The four horses here worthy of a mention are Killy Beach, Gallion's Reach, Alheri and Tam O'Shanter with the last named getting the nod. John O'Shea has his string in fine form at present and Tam O'Shanter has been running consistently well over the past few months. He was not beaten far on both his last runs at Sedgefield and this drop down to selling grade should see him get his head in front. One of his main dangers will be Killy Beach who was no match for Garde Bien at Towcester last time out in novice-company and ran with credit the time before at Exeter in handicap-company. Again he is dropped to this grade and must be respected. Ian Williams is having winners under both codes at present and trains Gallion's Reach who pulled in the four miler at the Cheltenham Festival last time out. Prior to that he had shown some half decent form and could pose a danger. Alheri has been running well in hunter chase-company and connections have not over faced him here so he has to have good each-way claims. A tricky race to call then but Tam O'Shanter, who has lots of experience and has been in form, gets the vote.
