Von Wessex, Beverley Beau and Procrastinate look the three to concentrate on here and a chance is taken on the last mentioned. The selection does look a little exposed but he ran well when finishing third behind Goldhill Prince at Hamilton last time. This is a slightly easier race and with conditions to suit he is taken to score. Von Wessex was a fair third behind Key Secret at Leicester last time, but he is fully exposed and will have to improve to score here. Beverley Beau finished behind Von Wessex in that race, but he has a handy pull in the weights from that race and could be capable of reversing the placings. Of the remainder, Danehill Fairy has shown a fair level of form and could be capable of running into a place, but for the winner we return to Procrastinate.
