Royal Logic can take this on her first outing, with Farewell Gift and Loveyoulongtime put forward as the dangers. Mick Channon is double handed here and jockey bookings suggest Royal Logic is the first string. She is a well bred filly by Royal Applause and cost 51 thousand guineas as a yearling. This doesn't appear the strongest of maidens and it would be no surprise to see this fall to a debutante. Loveyoulongtime is also having her first visit to the racecourse. She is trained by Andrew Balding, who is very capable of preparing his horses to win first time out. This daughter of Compton Place also fetched a decent price at auction and should be noted for any market moves. The best with experience could be Farewell Gift who appreciated the drop in distance when finishing a close third behind Kind at Kempton last time. He rarely runs a bad race and will be difficult to keep out of the frame, but he may find one too good again in the shape of our selection Royal Logic.
