There are plenty in with chances in this competitive handicap-hurdle but our selection is Bar Gayne, while The Small Farmer, Scarface and Hill Forts Henry are capable of going close. Bar Gayne and The Small Farmer fought out the finish of a similar event to this over today¿s course and distance last month. The Small Farmer just got the better that day and he is now two-pound worse off for a one and a half length win. The outcome looks likely to be between these two and preference is for Bar Gayne at the revised weights. Scarface usually travels well in his races but he has found little at the finish in his previous two outings. He is tried over this distance for the first time and it could be just what he needs but he would not be a confident choice as he is still a maiden in this country. Hill Forts Henry looks a difficult ride but he should win a race like this eventually, however the ground looks against him and we will stick with Bar Gayne.
