In depth

Verdict

Just five runners in this bumper and it will be a surprise if Imperial Nemesis can find the necessary improvement to trouble AIR NAVIGATOR. Tom George’s gelding looked a nice prospect when making a winning debut at Exeter and reinforced that belief with a close third in a Listed race at Cheltenham on his reappearance. Multitalented is a half-brother to useful middle-distance performer Myplacelater but showed little at Southwell. Vintage Glen has a jumping pedigree but may need further, though still makes more appeal than fellow newcomer Informateur.
