A competitive handicap in which Inter Vision is hard to ignore, and he is given the vote over Pertemps Magus and Pomfret Lad who look the best of the rest. The selection is in cracking form and he once again has his fast ground conditions today which bring out the best in him. He won well at Newcastle last time when beating Divine Spirit, and although that rival re-opposes today on more favourable terms, we think our selection should be capable of confirming the placings from last time. They are both well-drawn with Inter Vision in particular having his chance boosted by the draw in stall 17. Pertemps Magus was returning from a break when beating Thorntoun Piccolo at Ayr last time. She is sure to come on for the run but this looks more competitive and she may just find a couple too good. Pomfret Lad was a good second behind our selection at Catterick last time and he looks to be on handy mark at present. He is capable of going close here and he is respected as a live danger to Inter Vision. Flying Edge won well last time and he is another who looks to be well-treated at present. However, we are prepared to keep faith with the hat-trick seeking Inter Vision who is nominated as our idea of the winner.
