      Verdict

      Snow Crystal, Votsi and River Lena are three to concentrate on in this maiden fillies' stakes to open the card and the vote is given to River Lena. The selection made a pleasing debut when a good third behind Grandad Bill at Thirsk. She ran green that day and she is sure to come on a bundle for the run and she may just be able to make her racecourse experience count. Snow Crystal is from a yard that merit plenty of respect in these type of events and she is related to several 2-year-old winners. The market will provide the guide to her chance but she is respected. Votsi is another well-bred newcomer but the Godolphin string are not firing as they might at present and she may be best watched on her debut. Gates of Eden is another interesting newcomer from a top yard worth noting in the market, but for the winner we return to River Lena.
