        Verdict

        Best Prospect is selected here ahead of Folio and Flighty Fellow. Best Prospect returned to form at Ayr last time on good to soft. On the basis of that effort, he is due to rise by four pounds in future ratings so his chance today is there for all to see. Folio tends to come good at this time of year and the autumn winds and a falling mark can show him in a fair light today. A soft-ground winner, Flighty Fellow comes into this race on the back of a good run and is another key player. Isidore Bonheur is now weighted to win again so her chance is respected, while Blue Spinnaker is another that has dropped to a mark from which it would be folly to rule him out and he, too, goes well with juice in the ground. Suits Me's hat-trick bid last time produced a poor effort but, if you can forgive him that, his current mark does not look overly prohibitive, particularly given his liking for soft going. Finally, with his stable in better form now, the lightly-raced Aegean Prince is no forlorn hope but Stravara needs to step up on efforts that have seen him draw a winning blank for nearly two years now. All of which returns us to the selection, which is Best Prospect.
