BALDUCCI landed a slightly lower class handicap here in July and showed it was no fluke when a close third in a much better race at York last time when Boom And Bust was behind. He can take this for David O'Meara and Danny Tudhope. Marco Botti's Brazil import Energia Flavio ran well for a long way on his debut for new connections at Ascot and should strip much fitter and though Bold Prediction doesn't win often enough he's tough and consistent. Big Baz won his first two races on Polytrack at the turn of the year and has bounced back to form in handicaps over this trip recently so he can go well from his lowly mark. If the going has some give in it then Le Chat D'Or would be the selection as he's a better horse on soft ground and he comes here fresh after a break.
