Chelmsford winner Town's History makes his handicap debut and has his first run on Turf but could be anything so demands respect. Threat Assessed bolted up in a Chepstow maiden on just his second start but the handicapper has taken no chances. Amazement was beaten fair and square by Huntlaw at Musselburgh two runs ago and is 5lb worse off. Mark Johnston's gelding is another with plenty of scope but enthusiasm is tempered by a wide draw. Poet's Beauty is another drawn high but he showed improved form to score at Leicester. MYWAYISTHEONLYWAY overcame trouble in-running to get on top in a blanket finish at Doncaster on his reappearance. There is a slight stamina doubt over this trip on breeding but Martyn Meade's charge is still going the right way and could be worth the risk. Shafafya was second over track and trip on his reappearance but is 3lb higher.
