In depth

Verdict

Faster going will suit Thunder Sheik and he could go close at decent odds if back on song. Crookstown is also at the right end of the handicap while Teo Vivo has been in excellent form lately at Musselburgh, where he beat Jonny Delta, Serenity Now and El Beau last time. Clyne beat Heath Hunter at Ffos Las and then won easily off a higher mark at Warwick but he's never raced on ground this fast and is 13lb higher. Baby King won over course and distance in November in a race that's worked out well but was only third behind Floresco at Wincanton in January. VENDOR is a worthy top weight and may have the class to defy his welter burden. He finished ahead of Heath Hunter when third at Newcastle last month and has been dropped a couple of pounds since.
