In depth

Verdict

THE COBBLER SWAYNE (NAP) made mistakes when only fourth to Raktiman at Catterick but was much more accomplished at his fences when scoring next time at Ayr and meets Sam Drake's charge here on better terms. He can continue on his upward curve with another victory. The Italian Yob was only beaten half-a-length at Fakenham last time but is hard to win with. Cloudy Joker appears to have lost his way again but Cloudy Bob ended a long losing run at Kempton last week and that should have given his confidence a lift. Uhlan Bute, only beaten a neck at Ludlow at the start of the month, Ballybolley and Dartford Warbler also enter calculations in a wide-open heat.
