A 6lbs penalty may not be enough to stop FAITHFUL RULER and he gets the vote over Dunn'o and Light From Mars. The form of the Richard Fahey yard is a big plus for Faithful Ruler and he won with plenty in hand at Ayr last time when he beat Spirit Of A Nation. On the evidence of that success he looks one to stick with and he is put forward as a confident choice. Dunn'o wasn't beaten far behind Golden Desert over 7f at Goodwood last time but he is better over today's trip and on that basis he looks sure to run a big race. Light From Mars hasn't won since April but he ran his best race for a while at Sandown last month and a reproduction of that effort should see him competitive. The Cayterers has been in good form but he was outclassed in a better race than this last time and a return to this level should see him in a better light. Just Bond is another with an each-way chance, but the vote goes to Faithful Ruler.
