FIVE CENTS hails from a yard in good form and he cam make it back-to-back wins at the main expense of Avongate and Mister Hughie. The selection looked like one to stay on the right side of when he beat White Devil at Epsom earlier in the month. He won despite running green that day and there should be plenty more to come. Avongate got his head in front at the third time of asking at Newbury last month when he made every yard of the running. That was his best effort so far but the likelihood is that he will need to take another decent stride in the right direction if he is to land this prize. Mister Hughie was only narrowly beaten at Ayr last time when he was denied a clear run, and given his recent rich vein of form he is hard to leave out of calculations. Star Promise wasn't beaten far at Musselburgh last month but although she has ability, she does look a quirky type. Petougg has won over the course and distance and he is another to consider at an each-way price, but the vote goes to Five Cents.
