The fourth race on the Haydock card is a 17 runner competitive handicap but hopefully EZDEYAAD can go in ahead of Espero and Kildat. Jamie Spencer is a very interesting booking for the Swinbank yard who are very much amongst the winners. The selection made his reappearance in a very hot Pontefract handicap and is entitled to strip a lot fitter today. It was not a bad run given how competitive the race was and the standard of horse was quite decent. This race looks less competitive and will be run on a track where Spencer's mount has run well on a number of occasions. The horse to trouble the selection most may be Kildat who has been in good form of late. He is searching for a hat trick but will find this tougher from his new revised mark. He is tough and genuine though and will give another bold bid from the front to try and secure another success. Espero was very much on the up at the end of last year and is also looking to win three on the bounce. He also has a tougher handicap rating to live with and a 177 day absence to overcome but the Perratt yard sent out a winner last week from a break so if the money comes he should be monitored. Others to keep an eye on are Come And Go and Ella Woodcock in what is a competitive heat but hopefully Spencer can land the odds on Alan Swanbank's horse.
