      Verdict

RIO MIST can give Richard Hannon another winner by landing this from Athwaab and Key Breeze. Patrick Hills rides our selection for the first time and his 3lb claim helps negate some of the penalty she incurred for winning at Nottingham on her return. Even without it, she looked one to follow having made a winning handicap debut and in a race lacking strength it appears she's been well placed. Athwaab is in rude health and therefore merits respect, though it must be said the races she's been winning impressively have been plating class affairs and more is required back in the handicap ranks. Again though, connections turn to a decent 3lb claimer and William Carson can guide this filly to a place. Key Breeze is bred to be quick and showed enough in three starts as a juvenile to merit close inspection off this relatively modest rating, although the market will be our biggest help in assessing his claims. Il Forno is another to have been running in claimers and sellers and he looks a shade high in the weights although the visor is reached for and may help bring about improvement. Diman Waters may want the ground softer and we'll return to Rio Mist who remains capable of better.
