A moderate bumper where HIGH BENEFIT is suggested to score on debut, while Saintly Lady is an obvious danger. The selection hails from a yard that does well in this sphere and cost £60,000 as a four-year-old. A half-sister to a few handy stayers over jumps, her dam was an unraced half-sister to Champion Hurdlers Morley Street and Granville Again, so she has an excellent pedigree. With some Strong Gale also on her dam's side, she should go well on good ground and we will take a chance on her first time out. Saintly Lady won a soft ground Hereford bumper in December and was then well held at Sedgefield with her penalty last time, and the same is likely to occur today. Beside The Fire showed improvement to go close when last seen at Wetherby a year or so ago and handles conditions, so if he is straight enough after such an absence he could be a threat. Educated Evans needs to improve his behaviour and prove himself on good ground, while Sweetaboutme might improve for her first run after a long lay-off and a market check is advised. High Benefit is the suggestion.
