Activial won this last year when left clear at the last. He'll be better for his run at Chepstow and his overall experience of fences puts him right in the frame for a repeat. Keeper Hill looked a smart recruit to chasing when landing a Doncaster Grade 2 in December 2017 but he failed to complete in his next three starts and reverted to hurdles where he did much better. Jarveys Plate won a Listed race over hurdles at Cheltenham on New Year's Day and made a successful chasing debut in a Chepstow Listed contest last month and though there were only three runners he beat the very useful Reserve Tank. Midnight Shadow also won at that same Cheltenham meeting, landing a Grade 2 hurdle. He was in need of his first run over fences last month and would have won at Cartmel earlier this month but for taking a heavy fall at the last. THE HOLLOW GINGE won over hurdles here last December and made a successful debut over fences at Warwick in September. He just failed to concede Plan Of Attack 5lb at Aintree last month and can return to winning ways.
