Verdict

Crievehill, a very good fourth in the Kim Muir at Cheltenham, will have found 2m3f too short at Wetherby but made much of the running and battled on strongly and today's trip will be much more to his liking. BURTONS WELL (NAP) was returning from a long break when scoring comfortably over the trip at Aintree last month and a 5lb rise doesn't look enough to prevent a double. Theligny has yet to win in four starts over fences but looked certain to be suited by this sort of trip when staying on over 2m5f at Market Rasen. Singlefarmpayment is usually seen at Cheltenham though his last run was when eighth in the Grand National while Amalfi Doug won a couple of minor races at Perth before finding Class 2 company to much for him at Kelso.
