    Verdict

Rated 152 over fences, Valtor won a Listed chase over 3m here on his debut for Nicky Henderson and has leading claims on his reappearance. But he failed to win over timber in 12 attempts when trained in France and may be worth taking on with the progressive REDFORD ROAD. A bumper winner in September before scoring at Wetherby on his hurdling debut, Nigel Twiston-Davies’ charge will likely improve further today. Vinnie Dev made a winning start under Rules at Uttoxeter and is preferred to the returning bumper winner Prince Llywelyn and Frisson Collonges, who was well beaten at Aintree on his hurdling bow and is fitted with a tongue-tie today.
