Her ability to handle the soft ground has to be taken on trust but she looks the one to beat if doing so. Authora improved to take fourth at Newbury last time and the drop back to 5f brought an improved performance from Lady Jameela at Bath on her latest start. Miss Purity Pinker was well beaten on the all-weather recently but had fared better in slow ground on her debut and Takealookatmenow posted an improved effort at Ayr last week. Cardigan makes most appeal of the newcomers.
