Hacienda arrives in good form but has no winning form in soft ground unlike ROBEMAKER. The latter scored in testing conditions at Yarmouth in July and was only beaten a length in a tougher race than this at Goodwood last time. John Gosden's colt is just preferred to Alakhan, who returned from a lengthy lay-off with a victory at Chester a fortnight ago and will also handle the going. Point North could figure on the best of his form, though his recent below-par efforts are off-putting, while I'm Super Too is now 8lb higher than last month's win at Hamilton and may struggle. Flipping makes more appeal at a likely big price given he ended last season with a couple of victories in similar conditions and a case can also be made for Captain Bertie if he acts on the surface.
