Verdict

Princess Cleo, The History Man and Soto are the three to consider here and preference is for Princess Cleo. Princess Cleo was first past the post at Southwell but was then disqualified, however she made amends with a decisive win in a ¿27,000 contest at Doncaster last time when her trainer Tim Easterby maintained she had been desperate for a bit of cut. She has give in the ground again here and will be hard to beat. Tim¿s uncle Mick Easterby saddles two. Soto has a win at Southwell to his credit and his best performance was a good second to subsequent Group winner Ajigolo at Doncaster. He has been well beaten in good company since but he too will appreciate the cut in the ground and will go well. Mick also runs The History Man, an impressive winner at York last time. He was gelded prior to that smooth win, and left his previous form behind. Further improvement can be expected. However, for the selection we return to Princess Cleo.
