Nurpur's only success came over 6f and he's rarely raced over this trip but ran well in Ireland when doing so. He was staying on at Pontefract last time and would have a fine chance if staying the distance. Gabrial The Thug has been racing over much further and though last of four in a better race at Epsom wasn't beaten far. He looks certain to get into the argument but it's about time JULLUNDAR was winning and this could be his day. He also ran well at Epsom last time after a good run over a mile at Windsor and won't get many better opportunities. World Record takes a drop in class but was beaten a long way at Carlisle last time.
