Verdict
REALIST didn’t really get the run of the race over further at Leicester 12 days ago and also lost both of his front shoes. The winner of that contest won one of the big handicaps at Royal Ascot earlier this week so that probably wasn’t a bad effort. Mickydee is interesting back on Turf and fellow maiden Surprise Picture was keeping on behind an improver at Doncaster. Cotai Bear wears headgear on his reappearance and first run on Turf and Italian Breeze has also had a break but Balearic won at Newcastle before failing to justify favouritism at Newmarket and Elvrika is also on a retrieval mission after defeat here last month, though is upped in trip. Makashi ran well above expectations at Doncaster but was possibly flattered by the result.
