This is not that strong a race really and Paxford Jack might be able to win again, with Burwood Breeze, The Extra Man and Hiers de Brouage possibly rating the biggest dangers. The selection returned from a long break to score at Towcester last time, showing that he retained plenty of his old zest. He could well still be on a reasonable mark and can go well again. Burwood Breeze won well at Lingfield last time, but has been raised 11 pounds for his troubles, while Hiers de Brouage comes here seeking a three-timer but is now 13 pounds higher in the ratings for the first of those. However, both of these can go well, as can The Extra Man, who is probably fairly weighted but will need to step up on two below-par efforts so far this season. Indalo can be brought into the equation on the best of his form, although he has a long absence to defy, but the others look, overall, to be pretty much much of a muchness which brings us back to the selection which is, once again, Paxford Jack.
