Jimmy Byrne is taken to complete the hat-trick in this eleven furlong handicap and has the edge over Band and Mr Dip. Mr Dip was a remote second to Dickie Deadeye at Chepstow but with the winner going in again since that form is clearly sound and his chamce is obvious, although his earlier form was moderate. Brian McMahon¿s string are in good heart and Band may appreciate the cut in the ground. He finished fourth to Jimmy Byrne last time but may still have a bit to find with that one. Jimmy Byrne followed up a win in a claimer with a handicap success,-both wins coming over course and distance and he is on the upgrade. He is running over his ideal distance, clearly likes the track, and can complete the hat-trick. Jimmy Byrne is the selection.
