In depth
Verdict
Rydal gets the vote ahead of Hawaajes and Keepers Lodge. Hawaajes won well over course and distance two outings ago but having gone up the handicap was well beaten by mahmoon at Newmarket last time. Keepers Lodge won well over a mile here last time and the form reads well with the third, Pella, finishing second at Kempton this week. However this is two furlongs shorter and that will not be in his favour. But with Gerard Butler¿s string returning to form Rydal looks the one to be on. He was a good second last time over the minimum trip here last time and has proved he can handle cut in the ground. He seems to be running into form and may have too much pace for his rivals. Rydal is the selection.
