      Verdict

Smiddy Hill, Forzeen, Talcen Gwyn and Tesary are the four to concentrate on in the opener and the vote is given to Smiddy Hill. The selection has been given a break after disappointing at Thirsk last time behind Beckermet. That effort probably came too quickly after her excellent win at York and now that she has been given a short break she should be able to get her head back in front with conditions to suit. Forzeen rates the main danger as he hasn't done much wrong in his four starts to date and he was only narrowly beaten back in fourth behind Russian Rocket last time. However, he has a difficult draw to overcome here and for that reason he is passed over. Talcen Gwyn found trouble in running at Chester last time so he could be capable of a better effort here, while Tesary is probably more effective over six furlongs so is another best watched on this occasion. This is a tight handicap to get proceedings underway and we will stick with Smiddy Hill who is given the narrow vote.
