Glen Moss scored over track and trip in 2014 and was winning for the first time since when landing a four-runner conditions event over 6f here a fortnight ago. He’s penalised 7lb for that success which should make JALLOTA’s task that much easier on today’s terms. Charlie Hills’ charge found only one too good in a Group 3 at Deauville last month and handles soft ground. No Education was not disgraced in Group 1 races in France last year without looking like winning but has something to prove now having finished last on his reappearance back in March and last year’s Navan winner Red Napoleon faded quickly out of contention at York on his first start for Ralph Beckett. Testing going is a worry for Capo Rosso, a winner over a mile here last month, while Sirius Prospect has not won anywhere since 2014.
No Education (9-2) last of 9, 9l behind Dicton (9-2) at Saint-Cloud 1m lst stks gs in Mar.
Jallota (9-1) 2nd of 6, 1l behind Jimmy Two Times (8-7) at Deauville 7f Grp 3 stks (1) gs in Jul.
Sirius Prospect (USA) 12-1 (9-5) Tracked leaders, ridden over 1f out, ridden and no extra inside final furlong, 7th of 14, 5 1/2l behind Can't Change It (8-8) at Goodwood 7f hcp (2) gd in May.
Glen Moss (IRE) 2-1 (8-11) Made all, clear inside final furlong, readily, won at Haydock 6f stks (2) sft in Jul beating Coulsty (8-11) by 2 1/4l, 4 ran.
Capo Rosso (IRE) 11-1 (9-4) Disputed lead and went very fast, weakened quickly over 2f out, eased over 1f out, last of 12, 26 1/4l behind Gabrial's Kaka (8-12) at Ayr 1m hcp (2) gf in Jun.
Red Napoleon (USA) 16-1 (9-7) Held up mid-division, pushed along and weakened over 1f out, 7th of 10, 7 1/4l behind Mutakayyef (9-7) at York 1m lst stks (1) gs in Jun.
