      Verdict

      Londinium’s task is made more difficult carrying a penalty for his recent course and distance success. Lester Kris ran on well for fourth here in soft ground on his debut having recovered from an early stumble and he can figure ahead of Musselburgh runner-up Wigan Warrior, who was still beaten five lengths. Star of Rory is related to four winners but fellow newcomer BAY OF POETS may prove good enough to make a winning start. The Godolphin colt cost 400,000gns as a yearling and an entry in next month’s Group 2 Futurity Stakes at the Curragh suggests he’s shown plenty of ability at home.
