Verdict

GRAMERCY bumped into a good one last time but he was nicely clear of the rest so can gain a deserved win here ahead of Supreme Spirit and Walvis Bay. Michael Bell's colt loves to come off a strong pace and there should be a decent gallop on today. His mark of 84 will be no barrier given his run behind Joe Packet at Ascot and he can defy top-weight with ease. Walvis Bay is not ignored; he should be cherry ripe after two runs this year and his third to Sunraider reads well. The drop in trip will suit Ginger Ted, Tasmeem is owned by Dr Marwan Koukash who loves to have winners at his local tracks, whilst the return to six furlongs is in Solstice's favour. Commanche Raider still looks fairly handicapped, Kakapuka is only up 4lbs for a Doncaster win, whilst Supreme Spirit surprised many on debut when scoring at Ripon but the filly has a little to prove off 75 today. The consistent Bonheurs Art has a nice racing weight and jockey Robert Winston has won on this Acclamation filly before, however the confident vote goes to Gramercy.
