      Verdict

      Vantheman is speedily bred while Watcha Matey hinted at ability at Chester last month. Space Ninja was a £160,000 yearling and Fauntleroy and Lake Forest were also expensive purchases. ROMANTIC SAMURAI’s dam won on debut as a two-year-old and later placed in the Albany Stakes and the Fred Darling. The Kodi Bear colt gets the nod in this, though Action Plan and Tropical Air also hail from yards capable of getting one ready at home.
