A competitive claimer here and there is very little between many of the leading lights but the principals look to be Rydal, Connect and Marko Jadeo and the tentative nomination is given to the last named. The selection was a fair fourth in a handicap behind Buy On The Red last time out. This represents a drop in class and under conditions that suit he looks the one to be on. Connect rates the main danger on his latest third behind Everygrainofsand. He is another dropping in grade and with his yard enjoying a tilt at the ring he should be closely watched in the market. Rydal has the highest handicap mark here and is another with place claims but the suspicion is he may just need the run after a 289 day break. Of the others Gold Flame has at least won this season and has place claims but that victory came on the All-Weather. Lake Chini is another from a shrewd yard but in a race where the market should be watched closely Marko Jadeo is our idea of the winner.
