        Verdict

        Some top stables are represented here and as usual in these events the market will be very informative but the main protagonists look to be Rockfield Lodge, Diamond Lass and Birkintastic and the tentative vote is given to Diamond Lass. The selection was a fair fourth on her debut behind Merchant Of Dubai looks sure to have learnt from the experience and under similar conditions here she gets the nod. Rockfield Lodge rates the main danger on his latest second behind Without A Prayer. However that was over seven furlongs so the drop in trip has to be a concern. Newcomers Ballochroy and Birkintastic represent top yards that can ready debutantes and they should be watched in the market. Pintano is another newcomer that could go well but he is bred to be suited by a longer trip in time and with this in mind we take Diamond Lass to put her experience to good use.
