Verdict

Llanarmon Lad has done well this year, winning at Thirsk in May and Newmarket in June. He was also second in a competitive handicap at Epsom on Derby Day and should be thereabouts again. Salutation is another enjoying a successful season, having been placed at Royal Ascot and Goodwood. But he's been raised a further 3lb to put him on a career-high mark and stablemate Busatto might be more interesting. Groundbreaking was behind Salutation at Ascot while Lahaag has been disappointing this year, as has Rye House. QUEENSBERRY RULES has had a light campaign to date but caught the eye at York last month when held up well off the pace. He can reverse that form with Chancery, who finished just ahead, if back to his best form of last season and could be a bit of value. Elhaame is another to consider having been dropped a couple of pounds since his sixth at Ascot.
