There's even less form to go on for Division Two of the maiden than there is for Division One, but we're going to side here with one of the newcomers, and that's John Gosden's RUNNING MATE, while any market support for other debutants Atacama Crossing and Sir Parky would be interesting. The trio that have raced before, Whippers Love, Polly Macho and the blinkered first time Ginger Ted have little appeal. A number of these have fancy looking entries for later in the year if they live up to expectations. Hopes will be high for Running Mate who was an expensive purchase last year; the yard know how to turn out their two year olds, and are more than capable of getting them winning first time out. Barry Hills has had a cracking week which would get even better if Atacama Crossing were to land the spoils. The high draw should be viewed as a plus. Richard Hannon's runners often come good after making their debut, and that could be the case with Sir Parky. Some of these could be absolutely anything, so it's not a race to be lumping on in, but we're happy to side with Running Mate.
