Verdict

Beatboxer tries his luck in Listed company after wins in a maiden at Sandown and a novice stakes here. He has a host of fancy entries so will be expected to hold his own but GREAT SCOT sets a decent standard having just lost out in this grade at Deauville following wins here and at Chester. Persian Moon wasn’t disgraced in the Acomb when chasing a hat-trick and the extra furlong will suit while Floating Artist overcame inexperience to make a winning start at Goodwood and should continue on an upward curve. Certain Lad was third in the Group 2 Railway Stakes at the Curragh in June but was behind the selection at Deauville and lacks a bit of scope.
