In an interesting Conditions race, Jedediah is selected ahead of Campanologist and Eileen's Violet. Eileen's Violet has been highly-tried in her career to date and ran fairly well when stepped up in trip at Chester last time. A further step up in trip today looks sure to elicit further improvement. The Acomb Stakes third, Campanologist, rates as a big player, while Dan Tucket showed improved form to win at Newmarket last time and could go well. Dubai Time could hardly have been more impressive when winning his Ayr maiden and, although this represents a step up in class, he can go well, as can the Chesham Stakes fifth, Jedediah, who came good at Sandown last time. The Brian Meehan-trained 70,000 guineas son of Naysef, North Parade, is an interesting newcomer and may fare better than his stablemate Jack Got Even, but Sauze d'Oulx maybe has his work cut out in terms of winning. For the selection, then, we return to Jedediah.
