Signore Piccolo will enjoy the conditions better than most and this is his trip so he has to be on the shortlist. Art Collection completed a double on Tapeta at Newcastle in the spring and has been running in better company on Turf. He would have every chance here though he's unproven on ground this soft. Amood is 1-32 on Turf which is why he's better handicap than on the all-weather. RANTAN has won on soft ground and two of his three second places at the end of last season came on similar going. He will have needed his reappearance on ground too quick at Ripon and can get back to winning ways.
