Verdict

Goodbye probably has the best form among those to have raced previously but Alan Swinbank's filly may prefer a softer surface and this may go to one of the newcomers with the marginal preference for Samira Gold, who gets the vote over Honest Prospector. The last mentioned is an American bred newcomer from the yard of Sir Michael Stoute and has to be respected on his debut under Jamie Spencer. Mark Brisbourne's Annawanna is nicely bred but the yard in not known for their success with newcomers, while Peter Chapple-Hyam's Wells of Badr was well held on her debut and is hard to back with any confidence on that evidence. The vote then goes to Luca Cumani's Samira Gold who is bred to be useful and comes from a yard that is really beginning to hit top form right now.
