        Verdict

        Dual novice winner FFION returns to action having recorded both wins at Wolverhampton last year. There should be more to come now handicapping and this doesn’t look a strong contest. King Of Tonga finally showed signs of a resurgence when second at Musselburgh and can figure if building on that while Kapono returns to the Turf after better efforts at Newcastle and is preferred to Burrows Seeside. Boardman was the subject of a gamble at Redcar on his reappearance but failed to get involved.
