      Verdict

      Darvel steps up in trip having placed at Beverley on his reappearance but Rafiki never figured at Newbury on his comeback. Irish 2000 Guineas entry ROYAL AIR FORCE may not be up to that level having struggled in last month’s Craven Stakes at Newmarket but this is an easier task and much better is expected now handicapping. Aleas made a winning debut in handicaps when scoring at Kempton in November and is preferred to North Of Amazing on his return.
