Brighton maiden winner Express Wish has to be of interest first time in a handicap but Jeremy Noseda's colt does not look to be particularly well treated for his debut in this grade off a mark of 84 and preference is for El Bosque, with Rainbow Mirage rated the pick of the remainder. The selection bounced back to winning ways when landing a seven furlong handicap on Lingfield's Polytrack last time and is taken to follow up that success back over six furlongs on turf today off just a 2lb higher mark. The Nifty Fox may struggle under the penalty incurred for his win at Redcar, a comment that also applies to Ayr winner Fish Called Johnny. Bazroy needs to improve on recent evidence, while Averticus looks to be going the right way but may need more time. Rainbow Mirage is better than he showed in a better race than this at York on his final start as a juvenile and could be of interest but preference is for El Bosque who looks to be going the right way.
