Verdict

Iverain, Lauderdale and Mulkev Prince look the main protagonists in this tight handicap chase and Iverain gets the tentative vote. The seven year old was a fair fourth behind Cill Churmain last time and that form has since been franked off what looks a fair mark and with conditions in his favour he will be hard to beat. Lauderdale rates the main danger on his latest second behind Jordan's Ridge. However he is best when allowed to dominate and that is not sure to be the case with Mulkev Prince in the field. The latter is also worthy of respect as he goes we ll fresh and has conditions to suit but he is not getting any younger and may be in the handicappers grip. Ebony Light is sure to have come on for his latest third behind Prokofiev but he will need to have done so to score. Skillwise is on a handy mark but is a shadow of his former self so we are happy to stick with Iverain.
