Verdict

Another tight handicap here for punters to call with some in form rivals in opposition including Saspys Lad, Celebration Town and Waterspray and the confident vote goes to Saspys Lad. The gelding from the Mark Brisbourne yard was a good second behind Rigmarole last time and a reproduction of that effort should suffice. Celebration Town rates the main danger he won well last time out when defeating Sun King over course and distance but this looks much more competitive. Waterspray is also worthy of consideration but he gave the impression the handicapper had caught up with him when second behind Red Sun last time so for that reason he is opposed. Of the remainder Nicks Choice is better on softer ground so we are happy to side with the bang in form Saspys Lad.
