      Verdict

      MUTARAFFA shrugged off a penalty to win convincingly on fast ground at Lingfield. There should be more to come now handicapping and Charlie Hills’ progressive colt gets the vote. Beat Le Bon won a valuable handicap at Goodwood last time and is raised 7lb while Kimifive won at Goodwood earlier in the season with the unpredictable Three Saints Bay well beaten before finishing in front of Love Dreams at Newmarket last week. Lincoln Park would prefer some cut in the ground but Mustarrid may improve on only his second outing for new connections.
