MUTHMIR, very much into the veteran stage nowadays, is finding it harder to get his head in front. Nevertheless, he showed plenty of vim last time when a fast-closing fifth in the Epsom Dash and is worth chancing with Jim Crowley hopefully able to negotiate a passage through from his central draw. Kurious displayed a good turn of foot over course and distance last time but that success arrived on soft ground and this also rates a tougher contest. Garrus is on a roll and this will show how good he is but the main danger should come from Sergei Prokofiev, well beaten in the King's Stand at Royal Ascot but now dropping from Group 1 to Group 3 company for Ballydoyle.
