Verdict

Handicaps at this level are highly competitive but GREENSIDE is a course and distance winner with a nice enough draw to enable Harry Bentley to obtain a satisfactory racing position. The Candy runner gave himself too much to do last time but runs consistently well in similarly fierce handicaps and should be a player off a mark of 94. Via Serendipity turns up on the back of a runaway success on the Chelmsford all-weather and a similar effort would bring him bang into contention, whilst recent course and distance winner, History Writer, despite a 6lb rise, also makes considerable appeal. Qaroun is respected and Mojito is the one to note in the market making a first start since October 2017 with Frankie Dettori an eye-catching booking.
