Course specialist Make Us Flush rates as good value over African Gift and Tagula Bay, while Dorn Dancer responded well to the blinkers last time and holds each-way claims if she gets her act together from the stalls today. The step up in trip will help the last named and she could be the surprise package of the race. Tagula Bay is less exposed than most of these and will be suited by the return to turf. However, she faces no easy task from top weight and needs a little luck on her side. African Gift won well at Ayr last month and also has scope for further progression. Still, she will need to do so, as she races from a 7lb higher mark and there may be one or two lurking in the shadows that are better treated at present. Make Us Flush certainly being one of them. The daughter of Mind Games is 8lb lower in the rating than the last time she got her head in front over course and distance. Which obviously makes her a leading player in this company. The predicted showers in the Haydock area will also do her no harm and, after an encouraging run last time, everything seems to be falling into place for Make Us Flush just at the right time.
